Emily Knecht, a Low Angeles photography who is obsessed with intimacy. Had been working at a three year project where is wanted to capture her rwe emotion, documented in 35mm film every time she cried over the course of three years.
I believe that crying infornt of something is one of the most intimate things you can do and showing it off to the whole world is more intimate then a nude photo. I find crying is one of most passionate ways to show emotion.
As I’ve been looking into nontraditional self portraits, I find the thought of showing all my raw emotions off to the world terrifying, but it’s something to think about.
